KAI!

KAI!

For some months before I ever gained admission into the university, I worked as a staff of Kick Against Indiscipline (KAI) when the body was newly formed in Lagos state. I went out to field trips, carried out orders as given. We were hated and no one ever liked us, but as for me, I never cared whether we were commended or condemned.

That is not really the focus for today though... My question today is WHEN WILL YOU STOP YOUR SELF INDISCIPLINE? You condemn the government not knowing there's no government without you; you condemn the politicians for being undisciplined as though you never elected them into power and neither are you disciplined; you boldly take a one-way route while driving and you take it as being wise not knowing you're seen as the foolish among others; you throw out a waste from the bus even when you could have used a waste bin or dump it in the vehicle and you say, that's a faster and better way, forgetting the earth is the Lord's... When will you just stop your indiscipline?
When government authorities imposes some rules and policies, many of us do not care to think through them to see the advantages and disadvantages of such policies, all we care about is how 'you' are affected, not minding how it affects the major masses.... SELFISHNESS!
When will you stop your indiscipline... Do not wait until you atr being forced to pay a fine of N5000 before you stop crossing the bridge when you could see a pedestrian bridge in place. There are many other examples and you know them... Don't always judge or condemn any administration when you are still found guilty of the same offense they commit. Nothing really moves until you make the move.
LET THE INDISCIPLINE STOP NOW!

WHACKO!

SHE PUMPED WATER INTO THE OCEAN RATHER THAN PUMPING WATER OUT OF IT

This was the claim of an historic incident of a middle-class lady who roughed her way through to a dinner party where the richest man in the universe was being invited. She really struggled and managed to get through to the seat of this young man who was just 33 years old at the time. Getting there, she paid her obeisance in a manner which none of the guest present had done since his arrival, hence, all eyes were on her. However, since the rich man did not send her away, no one could boldly do so, not even his aides. As they watched on, she brought out a very costly oily cream (worth about $100 at the time) and while they taught she wanted to present it to the man, she unsealed it and poured it all on the man's head and it flowed from his head to his toe; everywhere filled with its fragrance. At this time, both the guests and the rich man's aides couldn't hold up in silence any longer and they reacted... Called her stupid, whacko, ignorant etc; they claimed SHE PUMPED WATER INTO THE OCEAN rather than pump out.
Then, the rich man stood and lifted up the poor lady who had been kneeling all the while, and said "Many of you have not thought to give me any of your possession, not even the cheapest, because you think I have it all, lacking nothing but this lady, in her understanding, gave the best she ever possessed without my request, yet you chastise her while you do not know she has really pleased me as I was needing the service at the exact time she came. For this cause, her munificence has bought her an everlasting inheritance in my possessions". Thus, in every accounts of the rich man, the poor lady's story was always found in the records.
Dear readers, this typical story of Jesus and the lady with the Alabaster box is teaching a vital lesson of truth today. Truly, God is the possessor of heaven and earth, lacking nothing but many are seeming to forget that easily. Yourself and all you have are His possession and even though He is not demanding any, give to Him what He deserves; I tell it to you, HE DESERVES NOTHING LESS THAN YOUR BEST. Don't be as other ungrateful guests and aides who never understood their special guest. As much as you seek to be blessed by Him, much more seek to bless Him... I WILL BLESS THE LORD!
WILL YOU?
