HOW TO KNOW YOUR FATE!

Some have said that everything that happens to man is his fate, with the notion that fate is a result of predestination. I tend to have a slight disagreement with that. In my own way, I would say fate is rather a matter of predetermination and not a predestination. Hence, it is a man who decides what becomes of him. This is why God has given every man free will; the freedom to choose whatever he wants for himself; good or bad, life or death, truth or false and He (God) would not interrupt the man's decision. Purpose is predestination from God but fate is predetermination of man.
There is the story of a mountain climber desperate to conquer the Aconcagua, but wanted the glory to himself, therefore, he went up alone. While climbing, at a very high altitude, night fell with heaviness and did not prepare for camping, so decided to keep going. Visibility was zero, everything was black. 100 meters from the top, he slipped and fell. Falling rapidly, seeing only blotches of darkness that passed, he thought certainly he would die.  But then, he felt a jolt that almost tore him in half. Yes! Like any good mountain climber, he had staked himself with a long rope tied to his waist. In those moments of stillness, suspended in the air, he had no other choice but to shout: “HELP ME GOD. HELP ME!” All of a sudden, he heard a deep voice from heaven… “What do you want me to do?”
“SAVE ME” He responded
“Do you REALLY think I can save you?”
“OF COURSE, MY GOD.”
“Then cut the rope that is holding you up.”
That sounded foolish to him to do, so he rather chose to hold on tightly to the rope. The rescue team reported that the next day, they found a frozen mountain climber hanging strongly to a rope…JUST TWO FEET OFF THE GROUND. That was how he ended his life, sadly by his belief (in a rope) than God. What you believe in today determines what you become tomorrow; your decision today determines your destination tomorrow. IF YOU WERE TO BE BLIND

It was so bright this beautiful dawn; marvelous was the sight of the Father’s creative work of creation. As I watched and praised God for His amazing work, I heard a voice within me, “Do you love me?” Without hesitation, I answered, “Of course; with the whole of me!"

Then He asked, “If you were to be blind, would you still love me?”

I couldn’t answer immediately but thought about it carefully. I imagined my body without eyes, scriptures flowed through my mind in micro seconds. Then I answered, “Lord, I will love you even if I was born blind.”

Then the Lord asked, “If you were without hands and legs, would you still love me?”

As perplexed as I was, I remembered the pastor without arms and limbs; I remembered the amazing pianist with only four wingers and even without legs but stood on her limbs; I thought many things with my thought rate almost beyond the speed of light and I came to a conclusion. I answered, “Lord, it may be hard to bear, but I would love you with my whole self."

Now, the Lord asked, “If you were to be deaf and dumb, would you still love me?”

That was strange. I treasure my voice so much. Not for myself but for His glory. I minister in word and songs using my voice. I listen to people when they approach me on any bothering issue, hat would happen when I’m without these organs? Then, I remembered; God is Spirit… I worship in spirit, I connect with Him with my Spirit; I sing from the heart and just through the mouth. I also hear Him through the heart not my ears. So I answered, “Without these organs, I would worship You still.”

Then God asked, “Why then do you still sin against me?”

I answered, “I remain human, only trying to be perfect.”

“Then why do you stray away so far in times of comfort? Why do you pray earnest only in times of trouble?”

I could not answer, with my face in my hands.

He asked further; “Why sing only when in church and worship programs? Why do you preach only when you are told or charged; when it is convenient for you? Why always pray selfishly without considering others? Why are you always rejecting my warnings when you're about to sin against me and you pretend as if you don't hear me?"

Tears rolled out of my face, I had no answer to the questions as they kept coming. I had no excuse. I was right in my face, embarrassed. “I’m sorry Lord” I cried with a sober mind.

“You are already forgiven my son” The Lord answered. Then He said, “I have not for once in those times forsaken you. You are very precious. I created you for a special purpose and I would be very glad to see you fulfill that purpose. My son, remember my word, if you love me, you will keep my commandments. Likewise, if I truly died for you, do you truly live for me?”

I cried in prayers, "I am helpless Lord; help me to love you truly, and wholeheartedly. Keep me from sinning against you and I will and let me always heed you to your voice always."

IF HE TRULY DIED FOR YOU, DO YOU TRULY LIVE FOR HIM?

WHAT YOU MUST KNOW AND DO TO BECOME A SUCCESSFUL ENTERPRENEUR [+ VIDEO]

Speaking on a television broadcast show to young South Koreans some months ago, China's renowned billionaire businessman and founder of the Alibaba Group, Jack Ma, spoke about how to be successful in life and as well, regrets he faced. He spoke on the different phases of life and how it could be spent wisely on the path of success.

Here is what he had to say:

Before 20 years old, be a good student...just to learn some experience.

Before 30 years old, follow somebody. Go to a small company. Normally in a big company, it is good to learn processing; you are part of a big machine. But when you go to a small company, you learn the passion, you learn the dreams. You learn to do a lot of things at one time. So before 30 years old, it is not which company you go to, it is which boss you follow. It's very importantA good boss teaches you differently.

From 30 to 40 years old, you have to think very clearly, whether you want to work for yourself...if you really want to be an entrepreneur.

When you are 40 to 50 years old, you have to do all the things that you are good at. Don't try to jump into new areas. You may be successful but the rate of dying is too big. So 40 to 50, think about how you can focus on the things that you are good at.

But when you are 50 to 60 years old, work for the young people. Because, young people can do better than you. So, rely on them, invest on them, making sure they are good.

So, when you are over 60 years old,  spend time for yourself. On the beach, sunshine; it's too late for you to change... normally.

This s my advice to the young people 25 years old, make enough mistake. Don't worry! You fall, you stand up; you fall, you stand, enjoy it... You are 25 years old, just enjoy the show.

On his regrets, kindly watch the full video clip (above) to hear his regrets even as a billionaire.

SHOCKING AND HARD-TO-BELIEVE FACTS

They are quite shocking and seemingly unbelievable but cannot be taken away from us except we give them away ourselves. How much are you aware about these facts abut Africa?

  • Nigeria is the second largest FILM producer in the world after India? Even America's Hollywood cannot beat that.

  • Africa has over 700 million MOBILE PHONES subscriptions; larger than Europe's 600 million as at the close of 2015.

  • Africa holds 50% of the world's GOLD with over 32 of the 54 nations having commercial gold deposits.

  • Kenya is the world's largest TEA exporter.

  • With 10% of the world's oil reserves and less than 30% of the continent explored and 30 out of the 54 nations having oil reserves and 12 producing and exporting oil, it is a possibility that Africa will be the world's largest producers of OIL by 2020.

  • Cote d'Ivoire is the world's largest producer of COCOA through which we get chocolate products.

  •  Nigeria having the highest percentage and exploring less than 25% o the continent, Africa has 7% of the world's GAS RESERVES estimated $14 Trillion cubic feet.

  • D.R Congo has 70% of the world's COLTAN, also known as "Tantalum" which is used to make capacitors in electronics, thereby enabling devices such as laptops and cell phones operate effectively. It is the reason we are enjoying technological advancements.

  • Sudan is the world's largest producer of GUM ARABIC, providing as much as half of the world supply. Gum Arabic I a key ingredient in soft drinks syrups. This is what keeps drinks such as Coca-Cola and Pepsi uniformly suspended to avoid precipitation.

  • Sierra Leone is the world's largest producer of RUTILE which is used in aerospace, automobiles, sports, an medicine, with its main uses as a paint pigment replacing Lead as the most common paint pigment used in paint manufacture.

  • Africa has 90% of the world's PLATINUM deposits, led by South Africa with 80%. Platinum is used majorly in the medical and electrical field.

  • Out of 54 Africa nations, 24 have deposits and 18 produce IRON ORE; led by South Africa, ranked 8th in the world. 99% of iron ore commercially used is for steel making.

  • Namibia is the world's largest URANIUM producer; a nation having less than $15 billion economy. Uranium's major use in non-military capacity is in nuclear power plants to fuel the nuclear fission reactors.
We are not poor as a continent, we are only poorly managed. No nation no continent should look down on us except we look down on ourselves.

IT IS TIME TO EXPLORE!

WORLD'S YOUNGEST MINISTER REVEALS HER MISSION

One of her primary objectives when she was appointed into office as the Nation's Minister of state for Youth Affairs at the age of 22, making her the world's youngest minister, was to set up youth councils across the seven emirates and on Wednesday, 2nd November, 2016, she achieved that. Her Excellency Shamma bint Sohail Faris Al Mazrouei, after reaching the landmark, at a local council in Abu Dhabi, said, "the setting up of the Emirates Youth Council and the affiliated local youth councils is in line with the directives of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who stressed the need for listening to the youth and learn about their ideas and proposals in order to serve them and enhance their skills and empower them to play an effective role in achieving development and transform the UAE into one of the best countries in the world by 2021".

She was reported to have also said at a youth circle event held last month that "Emirati youths are the builders of tomorrow, and makers of the future, capable of carrying the march of progress."

At the celebration of the International Youths day in August, the honorable minister said, "young people in any society are the energy and the main driver of innovation and sustainable development..." O, WHAT  A YOUNG LADY WITH DEEP INSIGHT!
However, like one of my favorite Pastors, Pastor Sam Adeyemi said yesterday at the just concluded Excellence in Leadership Conference, "you need to be influenced before you can be an influencer. You need to be inspired before you can be an inspiration"; the young minister is not without such inspiration and influence.

HH Sheikh Mohammed, a leader I so much esteem is one of such influences for the young minister and see what he has to say after the appointment of the minister...

"Without the energy and optimism of youth, societies cannot develop and grow; indeed, such societies are doomed." This were words written in an article by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, and Emir of Dubai, where he had to respond to the media and people on why the government had appointed a 22-year-old Minister of Youth. He further wrote, "We are proud that the UAE is a young country and we are proud of our youth. We invest in them and empower them precisely because they are our future. We believe that they are faster than us in acquiring and processing knowledge, because they have grown up with tools and techniques that we lacked at their age. We entrust them with driving our country to new levels of growth and development, which is why we have now appointed a cabinet minister of their age and created a special council of youth."

HH Sheikh Mohammed also said, at the launching of the National Agenda for Youths, held last month, that "taking care of the youth is a priority for the government, and the National Agenda for Youth aims to empower them to play a role in developing the country, as well as provide them with opportunities to sharpen their skills and unleash their leadership potential... and making them global role models."

Henry Blackaby said in his book "Spiritual Leadership" which was co-authored by his brother Richard Blackaby that an organization cannot grow beyond the leader's vision. A leader's vision can only be termed influential when it is generational vision, just as it s the Emirates. It is therefore no surprise, that Dubai and the United Arab Emirates is where it is today in less than 50 years of existence. What do you think the nation would look like in the next 5-10 years with the rate at which it is developing?

Like I asked in a post I published in May regarding my country Nigeria, titled "ARE WE SO MUCH LESS VALUABLE TODAY?" - I ask again; What then is our hope as youths when even the Youths minister is over 50 years of age; when a governor in 2013, without any ignominious feeling could publicly voce out to the media: 'we should find a way to retain those who are 60-65 years of age, up to 70 years unless they retire voluntarily '

NIGERIA NEEDS TO SWITCH FOCUS AND UNDERSTAND THE WIND OF CHANGE BLOWING THROUGH HER YOUTHS.

SOME UNIVERSITY GRADUATES WILL HAVE A FEW CHALLENGES WITH THIS PRIMARY 4 WORK

“This is Primary 4 work ooooo! I can bet my last Naira that some University graduates will have a few challenges with these words! And the same people who we call primary school teachers, in some states, have not come across these words before talk less of use them when they teach! That is the state of our education in Nigeria!” - So were the words of the diversified Atunyota Alleluya Akporobomere, popularly known as Alibaba, this morning on his Instagram page regarding the image.
I had told some people on many occasions, where I witnessed a private high school teacher who cannot pronounce the word 'CHAUFFEUR' at an open conference where he was urged to read some quiz questions to students, and another of the same category who would always use the word 'MIX' in place of the word 'MINCE'. How much more blunders can we expect from the students when they go around in their communication. Are these not the same people who proceed to the higher institutions with the knowledge of what they had been taught in school? That is just what education has become in Nigeria Schools. Only a few, which are almost unaffordable to the majority give qualitative education.
However, I am always of the opinion that education is not only attainable in the school, much more, quality education. The best form of education and growth, which I have seen, tried and experienced, is the Personal Education/Growth. No matter how poor or excellent your teacher may be, you will never grow beyond him except you're committed to learning beyond his teachings. I feel uncomfortable within myself, when I see graduates who are not able to speak 80% fluent English and when you try to trace the root of their problem, they bring excuses of poor location, poor school education, poor background etc.
From my last post titled, "A DISEASE THAT KILLS MORE THAN CANCER", I quoted Bishop Oyedepo, where he said, "IT IS POOR STUDENTS WHO BLAME THEIR FAILURE ON TEACHERS". Therefore, wake up, be committed to self-learning and development; not every public speaker or people of public influence had the best educational platform as you may think; many of them were just addicted to continuous learning and development. Very good examples are Richard Branson of Virgin Group and Nigeria's Nike Davies-Okundaye of Nike Arts Gallery, which is arguably the largest of its kind in West Africa; these two, never experiencing University Education yet, have both lectured on few occasions at the prestigious Harvard University; all due to tireless commitment to self development.
ARE YOU STILL BLAMING SOMEONE OR SOMETHING FOR YOUR SITUATION?
BETTER WAKE UP!

A DISEASE THAT KILLS MORE THAN CANCER

With the way its been killing across the world, I doubt if there's yet a nation where cancer is not evident. Both the young and the old are well familiar with this common disease which is having more than ten (10) different types. However, in my evaluations, I discovered a disease which is killing more people than cancer; in fact, it is more than a disease - it is a plague.
"We know some things, there is no doubt but we have always erroneously thought we know most things, and some of the time we even deceive ourselves to think we know all things. We need deep enough knowledge of every subject matter to have practical control over it. We need deep enough knowledge regarding divine health to really have a hold of it; we need deep enough knowledge regarding family peace before we can have a good hold of it. It is not enough to know something, we must know enough of it. Until you know enough of your redemptive rights, you cannot enjoy them. It is not just knowing something, it is knowing enough of the thing that makes the difference, and if you don't learn, you can't know. Be committed tirelessly to investing into our destiny; financially, by acquiring materials that will help boost our spiritual understanding, time wise, by spending time in searching  for whatever is known to be missing in our lives.
Let him therefore, that thinks he knows anything know that he knows nothing yet as he ought t know. It is not knowing something about a subject or a course that guarantees success, it is knowing enough of it. There is a light from a Match-stick, there is another one from a Candle-stick, and there is another one from a lantern; they are all light, but what is a match light going to do inside this hall in the night? Just a speck. What will a candle light amount to on this podium? Almost of no effect; darkness will still be reigning everywhere around. IT TAKES FLOOD LIGHT TO SUBDUE DARKNESS, SO YOU NEED FLOOD INSIGHT. So please take note of this: There is nothing valuable that is free. Please wake up and get it, it will be of eternal value to you. My Bible says, "Ride on prosperously and in majesty because of truth and righteousness, and meekness, and thy right hand shall teach thee deep things". DEEP DEEP THINGS! Let's go for Deep Things; Let's invest in Deep Things.
Don't just buy books and decorate your shelf with it and tell everyone that comes, "I got 50 of Dominion Publishing House books, they are very fantastic materials". And then, you ask him, have you read it? Hum Hum... I glanced; I saw... I glanced all of them. You want to prosper with dignity? Go and learn covenant details that makes it happen. DON'T PRETEND! DON'T EXPLAIN AWAY YOUR FAILURE! IT IS POOR STUDENTS WHO BLAME THEIR FAILURE ON TEACHERS!"
These are words from Bishop David Oyedepo.
