You can like me if you wish, you can love me if you want, you can hate me if you will, but how does that really affect me? It doesn't really change me from who I am nor help me turn my focus on who I'm becoming. I really don't care. So, what do I care about?
“I don’t care” is an attitude
turned up by many when they are questioned or faced on issues they are not interested
in. Once upon a time, I joined an organization and after few weeks of being
with them, I started seeing administrative problems which I am not always happy
or comfortable about. Then I started asking questions from those who had been
there for at least a year, only for them to say words like “As for me, I don’t care what happens, let them do as they like”. These words
hurts me; I am never happy hearing such. We are agents of change, so
wherever we get to, we need to cause a positive change.
Now, your will does not matter; it is not about
whether you want to do it or not; I don’t care whether you like to do it or
not; it is written in the scripture, “it is a sin when someone knows the right
thing to do and doesn’t do it” (James 4:17). Therefore, take aside your
philosophies and principles, take away your beliefs, take away your religion; this has nothing
to do with the subject of doing the right thing. Don’t do it for any other
reason, just do it, because it is the right thing to do, even according to the
law of God.
GET IT RIGHT NOW!
