MORE THAN JUST A COMEDIAN

When I saw this Instagram post uploaded on Saturday, I was wowed! Though I had known this man to be be lover of books, a staunch book addict, an astute learner whom I have been covertly learning from for over a year now but I never knew him to this point. When you see people like this own a mansion in Lekki, have luxury of cars and trucks, travel every now and then, within and outside the country, tour Europe as though they are touring a local state, organise shows and bill N10m for a table for 10, you always wonder, 'ki lo le to yen'; 'wetin dem one do sef' as if you can also do the same or do it better, you don't stop claiming, what's so special about what they do and all sorts.
Hmmm... I tell you, you'll never know how hard it is to go up high until you attempt an high jump. Behind the camera in the picture upload (in case you don't know), is a side view of the library of the renowned king of Nigeria comedy, Mr. Atunyota Alleluya Akporobomerere, popularly known by his stage name, Ali Baba. Now you are already saying... Ki lo le to yen, e pass comedy? YES! E pass comedy o, that's why you don't have to die of ignorance cos what you know can't kill you if you're wise, only what you don't know can kill you even if you're wise. This bros is more than a comedian, as a university graduate, He's also a Professional photographer, MC, Writer, Conference and Motivational Speaker, Artist, Artiste and Business man. In fact, seeing him appear as one of the speakers of The Platform Nigeria earlier this year increased my respect for him... Now you see what I'm talking about, you see why he needs such a large library, now you see why he'such a special class in the entertainment industry, HE IS MORE THAN JUST A COMEDIAN.

Don't just see things with your two eyes but see things with your four eyes (eyesight, insight, foresight and hindsight) before you judge or comment about them. Nobody just suddenly made it, they have surely paid the price for success without your notice.
Just like Ali Baba, respect to all hardworking men and ladies out there, God will surely reward all in due time, if only you don't give up.
